Council on Accreditation
We are pleased to announce that our programs have achieved accreditation through the Council on Accreditation — also known as COA.
The Council on Accreditation (COA) is an international, independent, nonprofit, human service accrediting organization.
COA was founded in 1977 by the Child Welfare League of America and Family Service America (now the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities). This accreditation ensures all of our programs and services are being delivered at the highest possible standards.
Achieving accreditation was not easy; it took us over a year to complete this challenging process. During that time, COA reviewed all aspects of our program’s services.
COA accreditation will provide you with the confidence that our services are among the best in the nation.
Haven of Hope
At Haven of Hope, we believe every young adult transitioning from foster care deserves the opportunity to build a stable, successful, and independent future.
Through our Supporting Transitional Age Youth (STAY) program, we provide safe and stable housing, individualized case management, and the support needed to help Non-Minor Dependents (NMDs) develop the confidence and skills necessary for independent living.
Our program empowers participants to pursue their educational and career goals while strengthening essential life skills, including financial management, employment readiness, healthy decision-making, self-advocacy, and personal responsibility. Our participants receive individualized guidance and encouragement as they work toward achieving stability, self-sufficiency, and lifelong success.
At Haven of Hope, we believe that independence is built through opportunity, support, and meaningful relationships. Our experienced staff are committed to helping every participant reach their full potential and confidently transition into adulthood.
Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of former foster youth by creating opportunities, building hope, and empowering the next generation of independent adults.
We are very thankful to our sponsors! Such support has obvious tax benefits to businesses and demonstrates a strong commitment to our community. With the support of our business partners, Haven of Hope provides care, resources and support for youth and non-minor dependents in need of specialized services.
